It's a team-up of two Midwestern titans together to benefit Farm Rescue.

For a limited time, both John Deere and Anheuser-Busch will donate one dollar each for every case of Busch Light beer sold in this promotional package. Those donations will go up to $200,000 and then be presented to the outstanding farmer support group Farm Rescue.

The mission of Farm Rescue is to help family farms and ranches bridge crises so they have an opportunity to continue viable operations. Farm Rescue provides planting, haying, harvesting and livestock feeding assistance to farm and ranch families that have experienced a major injury, illness or natural disaster.

Two years ago I wrote a story about Farm Rescue and in its first 15 years, the organization assisted over 700 farmers!  In 2022 that number has risen to 850. In every agricultural operation, there are pivotal people that are vital to either the planting or the harvest.  When family farms suffer a labor loss Farm Rescue comes to their aid all across the Midwest.

John Deere has been on board with Farm Rescue since the beginning.

It all started in Horace, North Dakota. What an incredible testament to the solidarity of the farming community.  They provide machinery and manpower to make sure that family farms in need are able to maintain their livelihood during tough times.
