The North Dakota hockey team is back at number one in the Pairwise Rankings after a weekend split with last years National Champions, the Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs.  UND has the 2nd most wins in college hockey (19) and have opened up a 6 point lead over Denver in the NCHC standings.  Only Minnesota State has more wins. (23)

The Pairwise Rankings mimic the NCAA selection committee, so if the season ended today, UND would be the #1 seed in the 16 team tournament.

North Dakota has 5 remaining weekend series left in the season. (10 games) They play Colorado College this Friday and Saturday at the Ralph, before a weekend bye.  Then 2nd place Denver comes to Grand Forks for a big weekend showdown.
