While the holidays in North Dakota are generally a very joyous and peaceful time, there are a few things that will get you judged. I put together a list of things North Dakotans will absolutely judge you for this holiday season.

Having Antlers On Your Car

While we know it's cute and festive, and the kids love it, secretly, many North Dakotans are judging you. Not me, I love them, I was going to put them on the radio station cars.

Posting Pictures From A Soup Kitchen

Many of us like to give back and do good during the holidays, so we sign up to work a couple of shifts at the local soup kitchens. While we think it's okay to spread awareness about hunger and the need for donations. Taking a selfie and posting it rubs many North Dakotans the wrong way.

Returning Things The Day After Christmas

Hey, there's nothing wrong with taking back a gift you don't like or that doesn't fit, but if you do this the day after Christmas, we have to secretly judge you. Only a crazy person would go directly after the holiday, because do you know how long those lines are?

Not Offering To Help Clean Up

Does anyone want to clean up after a large family dinner? - No. Will the host tell you not to worry about it? - Probably. Regardless of either of these facts, you have to at least offer to help. Thems the rules.

If you want to catch a few side-eyes this holiday season, go ahead and do any one of these things. If, however, you want to avoid the secret judgment, I'd suggest you avoid these things.
