New Study Reveals North Dakota's Favorite Honeymoon Destination

We are fully into wedding season. I don't know about you, but my schedule is absolutely slammed packed with wedding events this summer. It's great to see so many happy couples celebrate their love, but if there's one thing those couples can't wait for, it's the honeymoon.

Getting away after all the wedding-planning stress and relaxing somewhere with breathtaking views... sounds pretty wonderful. As someone who just got engaged myself recently, I was curious. Where are North Dakota couples going on their honeymoons? Where's the sweetest escape?

I saw that a company called Honeymoon Always analyzed Google Trends data to see where most North Dakotans honeymoon.

You might find this surprising: the most-searched honeymoon destination in North Dakota is Belize. And if you aren't good at Geography, like me, Belize is a Caribbean country with beautiful shorelines, a jungle, and a massive barrier reef. This sounds like a great honeymoon spot for any North Dakotan who wants a break from the cold weather.

The source also looked at popular honeymoon destinations in all the other states. Minnesotans searched for Florida the most for their honeymoon destination, and South Dakotans went for Greece. My vote is also for Greece. Can you imagine staying in Santorini?!
