If you are a woman, you know all too well how expensive feminine care products are. Having a period isn't something we can help, so having the necessary products to stay clean and healthy isn't and shouldn't be a privilege.

Sadly, many women in our community struggle to afford these products and often go without them.

It's crazy to think about a woman not having tampons and pads because what do you do without them?

With food prices going up, many women are left to make very uncomfortable decisions. Food or tampons? Food or pads?

Period Supply Drive

A community health worker, Kandy Swenning, contacted me and told me she has been hosting a drive with CHI St. Alexius to help the women of North Dakota get the feminine care products they need.

They are assembling kits and plan to distribute them here locally, in North Dakota.

The drive has been going on since the start of February, and only eight days remain. They still need quite a bit of help collecting items/supplies.

They have an Amazon wish list you can check out or drop off supplies to several locations in Bismarck-Mandan.

They are accepting items such as pads, period underwear, panty liners, hygiene wash/wipes, menstrual cups, Midol, and tampons.
