Bismarck Restaurant Set To Permanently Close
As you may know, the Bismarck Pita Pit was put up for sale several weeks ago. It was listed at $50,000, which seems like a steal, but sadly, no one has purchased the store.
Closing All Across North Dakota
Over the years, all the Pita Pit restaurants slowly closed down one by one. I believe there were once nine scattered across the state, but now we've only got the one in Bismarck.
According to a recent post on Facebook by the owner, Jesse Vetter, the last remaining Pita Pit in our state will close permanently to the public.
You may recall he also once owned I Heart Mac n Cheese in North Bismarck. In the comment section of the post, Vetter said that the closing of the Mac n Cheese restaurant contributed to the closing/selling of Pita Pit.
The post also indicated that the restaurant will close very soon, in just a few days, when they run out of inventory.
I don't know about you, but I'm personally sad about this. Pita Pit was one of the few healthy food options in Bismarck. I'm going to head over there and scoop up one more pita before it's gone forever.
We wish the store owner the best of luck on his future endeavors. Hopefully, someone will buy the property and restore the Pita Pit restaurant so Bismarck can get all the pita goodness once again.
Bismarck's Pita Pit is located at 2930 N 14th St.
