If you're like me, and you prefer a little extra privacy, don't like making eye contact with random strangers at stoplights, or you just like to keep the sun out of your car you might want to read this.

I've been telling myself for year, that I'm going to get window tint in my car; I still haven't done it, but I have done a little research into what is legal in North Dakota.

Legal Limit For Window Tinting In North Dakota

Before we spend a bunch of money tinting out your car, you might want to know what the most recent laws are here in North Dakota.

According to The Dakotan, we got a new window tinting law that went into effect in March of last year. Governor Kelly Armstrong signed legislation (HB 1340) easing regulations on window tinting in the state.

The legal limit for vehicle window tinting went from 50 percent to 35 percent visibility. We can now install darker window tint on our car's side windows. Keep in mind, the front windshield cannot be at 50 percent visibility. This legislation did not change that. the front windshield must have 70 percent visibility.

Make sure you remember this before purchasing any window tint. Have any recommendations on where to go to get it done? Send me a message in our app and let me know, I'm actually going to do it this summer.
