Perhaps he thought it was funny, ironic, or even clever. Whatever he thought it was, it didn't work.

Twenty-two-year-old Gregory Bolongnese of Plattsburgh, N.Y. was arrested at a bus station near the Canadian border when police found marijuana, cocaine and LSD hidden inside a stuffed lion Bolongnese was carrying.

The lion was wearing a D.A.R.E. t-shirt.

Anyone who has attended 6th grade knows that D.A.R.E. stands for Drug Abuse Resistance Education, an organization that teaches students ways to "just say no to drugs."

Clearly, those lessons were lost on Bolongnese.

He has been charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana.
