The Grossest Office Potluck Moments in North Dakota
The holiday season is upon us, and during this time our workplaces like to put on holiday potlucks. Personally, I love a good potluck, I get to prove to my coworkers that I actually can cook.
Because so many North Dakotans will be attending these office potlucks, I thought it might be interesting to see what we don't necessarily love about these get togethers.
What's the Grossest Thing You've Seen At A Potluck?
I posted a question to our Facebook page, asking what are some of the grossest things you've seen in North Dakota at an office potluck, and the answers didn't disappoint. So, what were the top responses? Let's dig in!
"We had a person that always brought chicken feet. Not even kidding.....and he wasn't the only one that ate them. He brought them every time."
Chicken feet?! Absolutely not. That should be illegal.
"Will not eat at pot luck! There was a guy in my home town that kidnapped a boy chopped him up and fed him to his church at pot lucks…."
Whoaaa. This was easily the wildest response we got on the post. Clearly, most of us have not had this experience.
"Those weenies with grape jelly sauce."
I'm personally offended by this comment. These are my favorite!

"Can’t do potlucks. Always hair in it and not mine either."
Ok, this is valid. Nothing ruins a meal faster than a mystery hair.
"I used to love potlucks, but cooking reels on social media ruined it...you never know what animals are crawling around on other people's counters."
How clean are your coworkers houses? You see them at work, but who knows what's going on at home? Understandable.
So, what was the most popular response we got on the post?
"Coworkers."
Okay, okay, very funny.
Hopefully, your office potlucks are full of delicious treats and great holiday vibes, and you don't stumble upon any mystery dishes.
