Over $330k Raised at the Great American Bike Race

Yesterday saw over 1000 people pack into the Century High School Gym to participate in the Great American Bike Race. 

Every year, Sanford Health puts on this event to raise funds for the Pediatric Rehabilitation team, which provides services that help those with cerebral palsy and other disabilities to live independently and participate fully in their community.

This year's event saw 103 teams of 12 people each cycling for 20 minutes a piece. When they weren't riding, team members were fanning the riders to keep them cool as the rode.

Prizes were given out to the teams and individuals that rode the most miles, as well as a prize for the most creative team costume/theme.

By the time the event wrapped up, over $330,000 in donations had come in, with more still being counted!
