Revealed: Mandan’s Raging Rivers Opening Day 2026

While we might be getting some nasty weather this week in Bismarck-Mandan, warmer weather is ahead. It won't be long before we bust out our shorts and swimsuits and get the boats in the water, and start cruising up and down the Missouri River.

While we love a good pontoon day, we also love spending a day with our families floating down the lazy river at Raging Rivers Waterpark.

Raging Rivers Opening Date

For many, the waterpark is a summer staple. It's a great place to make some family memories. We love watching the kids run around the splash zone, and splash down the waterslides-it's all a blast.

If you're like me, you might be wondering when the waterpark will open for the season.

According to RagingRiversWaterpark.com, the first day of the waterpark season is on May 28th. Obviously, this is weather permitting.

The park is already looking for lifeguards, selling discounted day passes, and booking birthday parties ahead of the season starting.

If you live in Bismarck-Mandan and have never been to Raging Rivers, put it on your summer bucket list. If we're being honest, I don't have kids or any good reason to go to Raging Rivers as an adult, but I do occasionally. What can I say? - It's fun.

Get your beach towels out of storage, pick up some sunscreen on your next grocery store haul, and get ready for those summer pool days; they're almost here.
