North Dakota Visit Planned for HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is coming to North Dakota next month (November 2026). Senator Kevin Cramer said he will be visiting North Dakota to discuss sustainable agriculture and is scheduled to meet with North Dakota Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring, according to KFYR TV.
Cramer made the comments at a press conference in Valley City, though that doesn't necessarily mean Kennedy will be visiting there.
This isn't the first time Cramer has invited Kennedy to the state; back in April (2025), he invited him to visit the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe and MHA Nation, given that the Indian Health Service falls under his agency. Cramer stated that Standing Rock is in need of a new hospital and MHA Nation has a greenhouse program for healthy foods that he believes Kennedy would like to see, according to WDAY. At the time, Cramer said he should visit when "the weather is warmer."
If this November visit is confirmed and does happen, it will be one of his first since being sworn in as HHS Secretary last year (February 2025).
