It's safe to say the Shiloh Skyhawks are in playoff form after a convincing win over St. John's on Saturday during the first round of the 9-man state tournament. Running back AJ Dale posted huge numbers during the 63-24 victory, rushing for 143 yards and three touchdowns and catching two more scores.

Shiloh dominated the ground game, rushing 40 times for 350 yards as a team. The undefeated Skyhawks were nearly perfect through the air, completing 6 of 7 passes for 111 yards.

Head coach Funnon Barker explained the team's strategy coming into the match-up:

We wanted to come out and be physical up front and wear them down as the game went on. I think we did that.

Up next for Shiloh is a contest against Divide County on Saturday, November 2 at 2:00pm at Shiloh's own Miller Field. Cool 98.7 will carry the action, so make sure to tune in either on-air, online, or on the RadioPup appfor your smartphone.
