Spirit Halloween Opening In New Bismarck Location 2026

Spirit Halloween is set to open soon in Bismarck, and this year it will be at a new location. Look for the spooky store at 1026 E Bismarck Expressway, in the old Big Lots building. The move to a new location has been confirmed with the store's 'locator' tool on its website. 

You may remember that the Spirit Halloween store has bounced around Bismarck quite a lot over the years. First it was up at the old Bed, Bath & Beyond, then the Kirkwood Mall, and just last year, it was in the old Jo Anne Fabrics space in the Gateway Mall. It looks like it will yet again make a move to south Bismarck.

When Will Spirit Halloween Open?

I know many of us are very excited and anxious to see this store open sooner rather than later. Good news, it doesn't look like we will have to wait too long. We don't have an exact date just yet, but the Spirit Halloween website says our Bismarck store will open in August. In years past, it usually opens in the middle of the month.

The website also indicated that another Spirit Halloween location will open in North Dakota: Minot residents can find their store at 3320 16th St. SW, next to Harbor Freight.

It's hard to even think about Halloween right now with it not even being August yet, but hey, it's coming. Before we know it, the kids will be going back to school, then temperatures will start to drop, and boom, it's spooky season, so let's start predicting.
