Examples of serious illness that will receive palliative care include ALS, MS, dimentia, and Parkinson's, among others.

A combination of physicians, nurses, and social workers will also be available to help with patients as part of the supportive care clinic. Pharmacists and complementary care specialists will also provide assistance in helping the clinic.
