The National Weather Service is once again using the term DANGEROUS in order to make the point - temperatures will be in the life-threatening range for the area Friday night into Saturday morning.
The National Weather Service in Bismarck has issued a Wind Chill WARNING for the area, going as far as to use the term LIFE THREATENING cold temperatures.
Very cold temperatures are expected for North Dakota today through Wednesday. The north central region can expect wind chill values as low as minus 45. This is a very dangerous weather system with very cold Arctic air settling in the area.
Here is the latest update from The National Weather Service in Bismarck. At this hour, it seems The Arctic Clipper that will move through the area Sunday will bring some snow and the possibility of up to 6 inches in some areas.
The second weekend in a row, the Bismarck- Mandan area received more moisture than was really needed, even causing Flood Warnings along a few rivers and creeks.
Two weekends of heavy rain has left the ground saturated and the creeks and ditches swollen. The National Weather Service in Bismarck has issues a FLOOD WARNING for South-West Morton County.
