It's 2026, and most of us don't like answering phone calls - we're texters. We like knowing exactly why you're contacting us and we like taking our time to reply. How we text continues to evolve, so over the years we've created texting shorthand. Sure, it wouldn't kill us to type out full words, but isn't it nice not having to?

Unscrambler did an analysis of Google Search data was done for 2026 to find the most popular texting acronyms in each state, and you might be surprised at which ones North Dakotans are using most.
