Old Farmer’s Almanac Thanksgiving Forecast For North Dakota
The holiday season is quickly approaching, and we're seeing signs of it everywhere. Halloween is just a couple of weeks away, but right after, we're going to dive into all things Thanksgiving.
Thanksgiving has a special place in my heart. It's a day we all get together with our families and celebrate togetherness. Well, that, and we get a free pass to eat an obscene amount of food and nap as much as we want in the middle of the day, if we so desire.
With Thanksgiving not too far ahead, it might be a good idea to get an idea of what our North Dakota weather may look like, especially for traveling family members.

The Old Farmer's Almanac made its annual predictions for the country, so what will it be for North Dakota? Tons of snow? Rain? Freezing temps. Will we get blasted?
North Dakota's Thanksgiving Prediction
Well, according to the source, North Dakota will have a pretty chilly Thanksgiving in terms of temperature. It also says that we may get occasional snow flurries the week of Thanksgiving, nothing too crazy, but these flurries could slick up the roads and cut visibility. All we need to look out for are quick wintery bursts, but for the most part, I think we will have a pretty tame Thanksgiving.
The Almanac made a winter prediction for us as well; it looks like it will get pretty wet and nasty mid-December. It will be quite the change-up from last year, as it says we will get very cold and a lot of snow.
Keep in mind, these are only predictions, and the weather is known to change quickly in North Dakota. Let's hope this is true and we can stave off heavy snowfall through the Halloween and Thanksgiving holidays.
