Updated: September 2026
It's not every day you hear about a property like this in North Dakota. A post made on ig_mansions reported the Gary and Connie Tharaldson Dynasty Trust had their house at 6025 Prairie Grove in Fargo for sale, which has now since been unlisted. According to Inforum, the beneficiary of the trust is Matt Tharaldson, son of billionaire, Gary Tharaldson.
Although you wouldn't be able to buy it for now, it's interesting to take a look at one of the most impressive properties in our state.

Curious about the home? The 25,000 sq ft home, that sits on 3.4 acres of land was perfectly described on Zillow as an "ultra-luxury estate" and "the pinnacle of private living in Fargo."

The property also has an indoor pool/sauna, hot yoga studio, an indoor basketball/pickleball court, and a gymnastics area.
As you can imagine, the primary wing is massive; there's a primary display kitchen backed by a large butler's pantry/prep kitchen, and the garage is also something to be admired as it's a whopping 5,200 sq ft, and has an 8-car capacity.
You might be asking yourself: just how much was North Dakota's most expensive home going for? According to Zillow, the home was listed in July 2026 at $6.5 million.
The estate is still in its construction phase, so a buyer would have the ability to collaborate with their general contractor and designer to customize those interior finishes, layout tailoring and smart home integrations.
