The Most Popular Baby Names In North Dakota!
I remember when we were trying to come up with baby names for my son, that was a stressful time. As a parent, you want to come up with a name that won't haunt him or her for the rest of their lives. You want to find a name that's trendy, but not to trendy. Something that won't have your kid be the butt of jokes during recess. Well, after much discussion and maybe a couple of fights, we decided on the name "Hunter" for my son. I'm a huge hunter and fisherman, and this was a name that I had always wanted for my son. I was a little worried however, that the name might be a little bit "to out there." The last thing I wanted was for my son to regret his name someday.
As it turned out, he was one of 3 Hunter's in most of his elementary classes. He's now a Junior at Bismarck High School, and although I haven't noticed many "Hunter's" in Bismarck Mandan, the name just fits. As he is a big hunter and fisherman like his Dad.
The baby names these days however, seem to be a mixture of new trendy names, such as Liam and Amelia, to classic names that are making a come back like "Henry" or "Evelyn".
Well, according to Social Security Online, these were the most popular baby names given in the state of North Dakota during the last year. So, if you're looking for some ideas, this might help you out. One thing I know for sure, there's going to be a lot of "Liam's" and "Sophia's" in the future, as it seems like everybody I know has been naming their kids those names. By the way, my son's name "Hunter" came in at #47 in North Dakota. Right in the meaty curve of the Top 100. My name "Rick"? Nowhere to be found. This list will be updated in May of 2021.
