While there are chances of rain and snow in the Bismarck area tonight, the eastern side of North Dakota is forecasted to receive up to 8 inches of snow in some spots this week.

According to the National Weather Service in Grand Forks, the region is forecasted to receive 3 to 6 inches of snow through Wednesday night. The Fargo-Moorhead region is expecting much of the same, with strong winds as well. There is a Winter Weather Advisory taking effect tonight, which go into Thursday morning for the eastern regions of the state.

As for Bismarck-Mandan and surrounding cities in the region, we may see a mix of rain and snow tonight into tomorrow.

Be prepared for hazardous travel should you need to head anywhere out to the eastern side of the state.

As for the Bismarck-Mandan region, Thursday and Friday are forecasted to be mostly sunny with highs in the 40s for both days.
