President-elect Donald Trump sat down with Chris Wallace of FOX News to discuss a variety of issues surrounding the United States.

Wallace spoke with Trump at length in a pre-recorded interview regarding what we can expect from a Trump presidency.

During the course of the interview, Wallace asks Trump about his stance on climate change as he has stated in the past that it is not real, but has also stated he has an open-mind that there is a problem.

Here's a transcript of what Trump had to say regarding the Dakota Access Pipeline. You can see and hear it for yourself by going to the 15:50 mark of the above video:

Wallace: Will you restart the Dakota Access Pipeline which the army just stopped.

Trump: OK, let me not answer the Dakota because perhaps that will be solved by the time I get there so I don't have to create enemies on one side or the other but I will tell you when I get to office if it's not solved, I'll have it solved very quickly.

Wallace: Meaning you're gonna start it?

Trump: I'm not saying anything. I'm just saying something will happen and it will be quick. I think it's very unfair so it'll start one way or the other and we'll have a decision pretty quickly. And also the Keystone Pipeline. You're gonna have a decision fairly quickly and you'll see that.

Trump clearly did not want to take a hard stance on the issue though it is generally assumed he is in favor the pipeline. What remains unclear is if Trump will continue the pipeline at its originally planned route, or if they will look for an alternative route which is what the Army Corp of Engineers recently said it would look to find.

However, Trump also mentioned in his interview with Wallace that he hates the current set up of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) because people wait 10 or 15 years to get a project approved and then it doesn't even get approved. It is unlikely Trump will want to wait for the EPA and other assisting organizations to go through the long process of getting an alternate route approved.
