Christmas Movies North Dakotans Can’t Stand

In North Dakota, we love to feel festive and spread holiday cheer. What better way to spread holiday cheer in our homes than by listening to holiday music and watching our favorite Christmas movies?

Now, there are a lot of holiday movies we love, but what about the movies we don't like? We asked North Dakotans on Facebook which Christmas movies are a drag.

We got several comments on the post, and here's what the people of the Bison state had to say.

1. The Grinch

I'm personally offended by this response. How can you not like "The Grinch?!" It's one thing to say that you don't like the old cartoon version, but why did North Dakotans say they didn't like the Jim Carey version? I will never understand this.

2. Red One

The Red One stars Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Chris Evans, and Lucy Liu. To be honest, I've never seen it. If it's as bad as you say, I will continue to live blissfully without it.

3. Elf

The people who said they hated this Christmas movie said that they aren't Will Ferrell fans. I like SOME Will Ferrell movies, not all. This one isn't my favorite either. Don't come for me.

4. A Christmas Story

Would it be a misdemeanor or a felony to tell you that I've never seen this movie? Eeek, I haven't! Is this the one where that kid gets his tongue stuck to a pole?

So, as I said, I haven't seen it, but most people agree it's a Christmas classic.
