Growing up, I'm sure you remember watching MTV. It was a lot different back then; they aired hours and hours of music videos. I remember watching Missy Elliot, My Chemical Romance, Christina Aguilera, N'SYNC, and so many other artists' videos on the music video countdown.

Another artist who would come up from time to time is Weird Al Yankovic. My friends and I would listen to "Amish Paradise" over and over again, laughing at the ridiculous lyrics.

I'm sure you know some of his other hit songs, "White and Nerdy" and "Like a Surgeon." He's a master of musical parodies.

Weird Al in North Dakota

Weird Al is one of the most unique musicians in the business, and if you're a fan, like me, you will be excited to hear this. Weird Al is coming to North Dakota next year. According to The Grand Forks Herald, he will be going on his "Bigger and Weirder" tour, and plans to perform at the Alerus Center on August 29th, 2026.

Public tickets go on sale this Friday, November 21st, at 10 am.

The source says the last time Weird Al came to North Dakota was all the way back in 2004 at the Chester Fritz Auditorium. It's crazy to think it's been that long. Knowing that, there's no telling when he might come again after this, so you'd better go to this show.
