Where is the Best Beach in North Dakota
When you think of beaches, you really don't think of North Dakota, but PureWow recently published a list of the best beach in every state, even for North Dakota!
There are certian states that I don't think of beaches. Especially in the Midwest, after all, these are not coastal states, but PureWow found a beach in every state.
For North Dakota, I think of the beaches along the Missouri River, even here in Bismarck. On a hot summer day on the river, the many beaches on the river offer some relief for your water legs and it feels good to walk on solid ground. Lake Sakakawea State Park has many of beautiful beaches, so does Devils Lake.
Coming in at #1 for the Peace Garden State was Lake Rednick at the Icelandic State Park, located 5 miles west of Cavalier, ND, on Highway 5, near the U.S./Canadian border. The state park also has cabins for rent and many more activites for individuals and families.
