Winter White Virtual Cocktail Party January 28th!

The annual Winter White fundraiser for Tracy's Sanctuary is happening Thursday, January 28th at 7 pm.  Due to the coronavirus, this year fundraiser is going all virtual.  That means you get to set your very own stage.  Whether you host a pajama party, mystical masquerade, formal affair or casual soiree, it's entirely all up to you.  They'll even deliver everything you need, ahead of time.

The Winter White Virtual Cocktail party will be held online on both Facebook and You Tube.  VIP Host ticket is $200 dollars.  Make signature cocktails with a professional bartender from Proof Distillery includes liquor and mixes, goodies and glasses for 6.  Individual tickets there is a $25 dollar suggested donation.  Tickets can be purchased at www.tracyssanctuary.org

So, let me tell you a little bit about Tracy's Sanctuary.  This is an amazing place that helps people out from all over the country.  Tracy's Sanctuary House provides temporary sanctuary for out of town families during a time when their loved one is in a life threatening crisis.  Their purpose is to offer this "home away from home" as a place of privacy, comfort and compassion to these individuals.

I had the privilege of having Kelsey on the air with me recently to tell me about this fantastic event.  Kelsey is the Executive Director of Tracy's Sanctuary House.  Tears filled her eyes and she told me the story behind Tracy's Sanctuary.  Back in 2004 and a long ways from home.  Tracy, along with her husband, her 11 year old daughter were returning from a trip when their vehicle rolled.  Tracy did not survive.  While Tracy was fighting for her life far from home, Tracy's husband and young daughter paced the cold hospital halls and waiting room.  Distraught and overcome with emotion, they desperately needed a private place to go and find sanctuary.  And later, after Tracy's passing, they needed a place to make phone calls to family and the necessary arrangements.  So far from home, there was no such place.

Tracy's families hope is to create such a place.  A sanctuary.  Well, they have, and now it's helping families in need from all over the country right here in Bismarck.  This your chance to help out this great community service by being a part of this annual fundraiser.
