A Cold Beer Could Be Coming to a Movie Theater Near You Soon!!

What goes with hot salty popcorn and a movie? What about a cold beer. If that thought sounds good to you, it could become a reality in Bismarck.

Carmike Theaters in the Gateway Fashion Mall has applied for a license to serve beer in the theater. The Bismarck City Council discussed the issue Tuesday night and discussed whether the city needs a new class of liquor license. The theater applies for a class F alcohol license. This type of license normally applied for restaurants. The council will re-visit the matter again next month.
