A Wednesday night accident claimed 3 in Western North Dakota after a crash with a semi trailer.

According to the State Patrol, the men driving a pick up truck were struck by a semi trailer truck after failing to yield at a intersection.

The accident took place in McKenzie County.

The identities of the men were not revealed.  The Highway Patrol said the driver and passengers were from out of state.

The accident took place on Highway 200. The incident closed the highway for a few hours.
