A body found floating in the Red River, near downtown Fargo, was pulled out by authorities shortly after 1pm Thursday afternoon, May 7th.

According to InForum, three fishermen spotted the body between the First Ave. North bridge and the NP Ave. bridge and alerted police immediately.

Authorities are currently attempting to identify the body and have not released any details about the individual. One of the three fishermen that discovered the body, though, did tell InForum that the victim seemed to be a woman with brown hair.

Authorities will release more information, as their investigation continues. We will update this post once more details become available.
