Lawmakers in North Dakota are considering a new bill which would create a state registry for people who have suffered traumatic brain injuries.

The purpose of the registry would be to make the state aware of residents who may be in need of special care and services related to traumatic brain injuries.
All information contained within the registry would remain confidential.
Retired Lt. Colonel JP Moszer, who received such an injury in 2007 while serving in Iraq, supports the bill:
This bill is North Dakotans needing to take care of North Dakotans, because I'm no longer a Guardsman, but I'm a North Dakotan. Would I use the resource? Probably not, but there are others out there who need it a lot more than I do.
