Bismarck Bobcats Drop First Two Games of Playoff Series with Minot
The weekend was not kind to the Bismarck Bobcats, as they dropped the first two games of their playoff series with the Minot Minotauros Friday and Saturday night.
Friday night, in Minot, the Minotauros defeated the Bobcats 4-1, after scoring three goals in the span of 3:42 in the second period. Nick Monfils scored three of the Minotaurs four goals to lead the team to victory in the first game of the series.
In the second game, which took place Saturday night in Bismarck, the Minotauros once again took down the Bobcats 4-2. The teams were tied through the first two periods, but the Minotauros added two goals in the third period to take the victory.
Game 3 will take place Friday, April 10th, in Minot. If the Minotauros win, they move on, so it's do-or-die for the Bobcats.
