This Monday, June 22nd, Bismarck-Burleigh Public Health will be offering COVID-19 testing on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 11 am to 12:30 pm. in the Bismarck-Burleigh Public Health Parking lot at 500 E Front Avenue.  You are allowed to walk-up or drive-up and this is on a first come first serve basis.  The staff will be operating out of the trailer in the picture above.  This trailer was provided by the North Dakota Department of Health.  Testing will be open to anybody wanting a COVID-19 test.  No need to make an appointment.

Individuals who are sick or experiencing coronavirus symptoms or are close to somebody who has tested positive for COVID-19, should call Bismarck Public Health at 701-355-1540 upon arrival and remain inside their vehicle.  Public Health staff will come to your vehicle  for testing.  Individuals who have mobility issues are encouraged to call 701-355-1540 so they can accommodate those in need.

This testing opportunity is a pandemic response effort coordinated between Bismarck-Burleigh Public Health and the North Dakota Department of Health.  The testing kits are being provided the North Dakota Department of Health for Bismarck-Burleigh Public Health staff who will perform the testing via swap.

This testing is a tool to assist in COVID-19 response efforts, but you are reminded that is a pint-in-time test.  Just because someone tests negative at the time of the test doesn't mean they could not be positive the next day.  Preventive measures are still important to slow the spread of COVID-19.  North Dakota went over the 3,000 mark of positive coronavirus cases this week.
