The Bismarck High School Demonettes dropped by the studio to talk about their annual golf tournament happening Saturday, June 7 at Prairie West Golf Course at 1 p.m.

The Demonettes were the first half time entertainment of their kind in North Dakota and have been performing for over fifty years. These ladies have built up a legacy through their numerous state titles and national rankings.

The golf tournament is just one of many fundraisers done throughout the year to help the varsity and junior varsity compete at competitions around the state, region and nation.

Their most recent accomplishments include:

  • Varsity - 1st place in Hip Hop and 2nd in Pom, Kick and Jazz at the 2014 State Dance Competition.
  • Junior Varsity - Regional Kick Champions at the Spirit of America Competition in Minneapolis, MN.
  • Varsity - 3rd place in Kick and 8th place in Pom at NDA Nationals in Orlando, FL.

To golf, preregister at the Demonette website or the day of the event from noon - 12:45 p.m. The tournament will be held as a four man scramble with $75/golfer or $300 for a complete team of four. This cost will get you a cart, green fees and a meal!

Prizes will be awarded for:

  • Lowest Scratch
  • 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place
  • Putting Contest
  • Longest Drive
  • Closest to Pin
  • & more!

If you are not a golfer but still want to support this local group of girls there are other ways! You can become a hole sponsor for $100 or donate directly to the team. All sponsorships/donations are tax deductible!
