While most 13-14 year old teenagers are out worrying about finding a boyfriend/girlfriend or what they plan on wearing to the party this weekend, one group wanted to make safe sex even safer... and succeeded!

Muaz Nawaz, Daanyaal Ali, and Chirag Shah, students at London's Isaac Newton Academy have created a new "smart" condoms. The condom is capable of detecting STD's it comes in contact with. When asked, the 14 year old Ali had this to say:

We wanted to make something that make detecting harmful STIs safer than ever before, so that people can take immediate action in the privacy of their own homes without the invasive procedures at the doctors

The product, named S.T.EYE earned the teens the top health innovation prize at the Teen Tech Awards.

Don't think you'll be able to run out and grab some of these anytime soon, as they are still very much a prototype.

But I know a LOT of single people that will be waiting on these coming to reality!
