Big news for 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier'! It seems Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow is popping in for a little visit with our star-spangled hero and directors Joe and Anthony Russo are hard at work securing an actress to play Cap's new leading lady.

First up -- Variety's Jeff Sneider has confirmed that Black Widow will definitely be making an appearance in 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier' alongside star Chris Evans. While the capacity of her role isn't yet known at this time, it's hard to complain about a new 'Captain America' dish with a side of Scarlett Johansson. Actually, no one complains about Scarlett Johansson, like, ever.

But who will be the Cap's new leading lady? According to Deadline, directors Joe and Anthony Russo are testing five actresses for a new and crucial role in the film: Emilia Clarke, who you'll know as Daenerys Targaryen from 'Game of Thrones'; Jessica Findlay Brown of 'Downton Abbey'; Imogen Poots, who can be seen in the upcoming films 'A Late Quartet' and 'Knight of Cups'; Teresa Palmer, who also stars in 'Knight of Cups'; and finally, Alison Brie, who has worked with the Russo brothers on 'Community.' We're keeping our fingers crossed for Brie here, who we think would make an awesome love interest for ol' Cap.
