Cow Breaks Loose on NDSU Campus
On Thursday (February 8th), a cow was running loose on the campus at North Dakota State University in Fargo. Yep, only in North Dakota.
The cow had broken loose from a corral that is part of the 92nd Little International Livestock Show happening today and tomorrow (February 9th and 10th) which is put on by NDSU's Saddle and Sirloin Club.
The video began circulating on Facebook soon after. As seen in the video, three people attempted to corral the animal near Minard Hall. According to NDSU's Media Relations Coordinator, Sadie Rudolph, students were able to corral the cow and get it back in its corral once the cow became tired.
The Little International Livestock Show involves over 300 students, making it the largest student-sponsored event that takes place on NDSU's campus.
It's not every day you get to see cows running loose in the snow in the middle of a college campus unless of course, you live in North Dakota.
