News Nation (St. Paul, MN) is reporting that 26-year-old Minnesota woman, Mikayla Holmgren, is attempting to become the first woman with Down Syndrome to be featured in Sports Illustrated - Swimsuit Edition. For anyone who thinks this can't happen, Mikayla is here to show the world that she can and does break barriers. Mikayla has already made history as the first woman with Down Syndrome to compete in a Miss USA pageant.
