Flying For The Holiday? Here Are The 10 Busiest Airports For Thanksgiving 2014

Now that Bismarck has nonstop flights to Dallas (DFW),and if your holiday travels have you going through The Big D. Congratulations!! Dallas falls into the category of one of the busiest airports for Thanksgiving travel plans.

According to the Detroit Free Press, the 10 busiest airports for holiday travel will be Atlanta, followed by Los Angeles, Chicago O'Hare, Dallas-Ft. Worth, New York JFK, Denver, San Francisco, Phoenix, Charlotte and Houston International, according to Airlines For America, an airline industry trade group.

Plus Bismarck has nonstop service to Denver also.

Best bet is to plan ahead. Make sure that you know the connecting flight information and be sure the person picking you up at your final destination has a flight status alert on their smartphone.
