North Dakota’s Favorite Summer Road-Trip Snack (2025)

Now that the weather is nice, North Dakotans are starting to get the itch. We want to get out and travel the state and see and do all the fun things we possibly can while it's nice out.

Summer concerts, camping trips, even cross-country excursions--we're trying to do it all.

Some of us might opt to take a plane, but many North Dakotans love a good old-fashioned road trip. What's not to love? Beautiful scenery, quality time with our friends and family, and stops at gas stations scooping up our favorite snacks.

According to Multivu.com, a survey was done looking at all 50 states. The survey helped to determine which is the favorite snack in each state/region.

According to the source, North Dakotans have a go-to, and I can honestly say that I'm not surprised.

While tons of North Dakotans love their beef jerky and sunflower seeds, that didn't turn out to be the number one favorite, North Dakota's favorite road-trip snack of 2025 is Pringles. Not just any Pringles, but the sour cream and onion flavor.

I'm a classic Pringles gal, myself, but I'm a bit of a picky eater.
