Former North Dakota State fullback and Williston High standout athlete Tyler Jangula passed away at his home in Williston over the weekend.

Jangula, 28, played fullback for the Bison from 2004-2008, where he became the player that NDSU molded their fullbacks after, according to InForum.

The Everson-Coughlin Funeral Home had few details regarding Jangula's death, only saying that he 'passed away peacefully Sunday, February 1st, at his home in Williston.'

Some of Jangula's former coaches and teammates took to Twitter to grieve their loss, including coach Tim Polasek:
