In celebration of the event, Comic Realms is giving out free comic books to people who stop in on Saturday. This year's event at Comic Realms is not only fun, but it is also for a good cause.

Everyone gets five free comic books, but donating non-perishable food items gets you five more!

Comic Realms posted that they were doing something a little different with "Free Comic Book Day" this year. Anyone who stops in automatically gets five free comic books. Anyone who brings in a canned good or non-perishable food item will get five more comic books. The items and cash donations received will be donated to the Bismarck Emergency Food Pantry.

There are some big publishers giving out free comic books on "Free Comic Book Day."

According to Screenrant, the 20th anniversary of "Free Comic Book Day" will feature comic books from big-name publishers such as Marvel and DC.

If you ever find yourself in need, there is help here in Bismarck-Mandan. The Bismarck Emergency Food Pantry's mission is "To provide food to help families and individuals facing a crisis when they have little or no money to buy food." The organization's website states that it is community-supported and run entirely by volunteers.
