North Dakota’s Favorite Halloween Movie Is Lame

I know we still have a few weeks to go before we officially get into spooky season, but I stumbled across some very important information today, and I felt like I needed to share this lame news with you.
We all love the classic Halloween movies, right? If you're going to do a horror movie binge, you have to include Poltergeist, Halloween, Chucky, Night of the Living Dead, and Nightmare on Elm Street. Those are a given. They are required. Mandatory.

A study was done by a company called Comparitech, using Google Search Trends, with the goal of finding the most popular Halloween movie in each state for the year 2024.
The data revealed North Dakota's favorite Halloween movie, and it's pretty disappointing.

So, which movie is a must this Halloween? The source says it's "Thanksgiving." If you've never seen this movie, you might be confused by the title, and that's fair. You would think it's about, well...Thanksgiving. In reality, it is a horror movie set during the Thanksgiving holiday. *Insert eye roll*

The movie was gory and full of surprises, yes, but naming this our favorite Halloween movie is preposterous. Absolutely not. Google Search data lies.

Look, if you liked the movie, that's great. I didn't hate it by any means, but in my opinion, it certainly doesn't deserve to be named the best.

The source says that the number one Halloween movie in the country last year across all fifty states was Longlegs, then Thanksgiving, followed by Abigail.
