Fall isn't quite here yet, but there are signs of it popping up everywhere. Coffee shops are selling pumpkin spice lattes, local stores have their fall and Halloween decor out-we can't help but get a little excited for the season ahead.

Fall Movie Marathon

There's nothing quite like the feeling you get when you watch scary movies. You're on the couch, in the dark with your favorite snack by your side, and suspense lingers in the air.

Watching fall and Halloween themed movies is the perfect way to celebrate the season.

To help you prepare for spooky season, I put together a movie calendar.

31-Day October Movie Challenge

To get the most out of this Halloween, you should give this a try.

It's the 31-Day October Movie Challenge. On the calendar, I listed a different Halloween-themed movie for each day. The goal is to watch each one by October 31st.

Take a look at the calendar.

Lots of classics in there and few newer titles too. Sadly, many amazing Halloween movies didn't make the calendar, so allow me to throw out a few more honorable mentions.

  • Evil Dead
  • The Hills Have Eyes
  • Interview With A Vampire
  • Coco
  • Coraline
  • Casper
  • E.T.
  • The Crow
  • Pet Cemetery
  • Saw
  • The Ring
  • The Lost Boys
  • Death Becomes Her
  • The Witches
  • House Of 1000 Corpses
  • Legion
  • Donnie Darko

I'm sure I've left off several "killer" movies; these are just some of the many fall/Halloween-themed movies you can watch to get you in the spooky spirit.
