In July of 2018, I became a crazy cat lady and an advocate for pet adoption when I found my kind, sweet boy, Raspy. My fiance and I were living in Grand Forks, and while we frequented Circle of Friends Humane Society, it took us a while to adopt. Now, I wish I would have done it sooner, and I want to adopt a bunch more kittens.

We call Raspy "a friend to all" because he is so kind and loving to all people and animals. This is shocking, considering he and his sister were found wandering around a high-traffic area, after being thrown out of the window of a moving vehicle. A concerned person contacted the police, and when his sister got adopted, poor Raspy sat in a kennel for weeks.

Fast-forward to today, and I'm living in Bismarck, looking for a new kitten for our family to love. I took a look at Furry Friends Rockin' Rescue, and there are so many cute kittens for adoption. You can see their adoptable animals directly on their website: http://www.furryfriendsrockinrescue.org/.

Now, if you love animals, but can't adopt, my apartment company, Goldmark, is collecting items to help these animals in need. They're collecting goods at any of their locations now until December 17. Here's what you can donate to help:
