We've heard about computer cameras, Bluetooth smart speakers, and baby monitors spying on us, but is your Smart TV a spy too? According to CNN, it's definitely happening. This information would have been nice before Black Friday/Cyber Monday hit.

CNN says the FBI is reporting that hackers may have easy access to our homes and lives through Smart TVs. How is this happening? The hackers use Internet streaming and facial recognition programs to spy on unsuspecting people.

If you think this is a hoax, it doesn't appear to be. The warning from the FBI reads: "At the low end of the risk spectrum, they can change channels, play with the volume, and show your kids inappropriate videos. In a worst-case scenario, they can turn on your bedroom TV's camera and microphone and silently stalk you."

The FBI is also offering solutions, saying that you can simply place black tape over your TV's camera or you can educate yourself on the security features of your smart device.
