4,000 Kids Could Return to Downtown Williston for This Halloween Tradition
Halloween is almost here, and families in Williston have a great reason to get those costumes ready. The Williston Downtowners Association is bringing back its annual Trail of Treats on Saturday, October 31, giving little ghosts, goblins, and superheroes a chance to fill their candy bags while exploring downtown.
The event runs from 2 to 4 p.m., with downtown Williston streets closed to traffic to provide a safer space for families to enjoy the afternoon.

More Than 50 Businesses Joining the Fun
More than 50 businesses have already signed up to participate this year, and organizers are hoping for another big turnout.
Past Trail of Treats events have drawn more than 4,000 children to downtown Williston. Local businesses are looking forward to welcoming families again for an afternoon filled with costumes, treats, and Halloween fun.
Businesses interested in participating are encouraged to register with the Williston Downtowners Association to set up within the street closure area.
A Halloween Event for Everyone
There's another reason to look forward to this year's Trail of Treats. The event will once again be part of the Teal Pumpkin Project, an effort to make Halloween more inclusive for children with food allergies or sensitivities.
Participating businesses offering non-food treats will display teal pumpkins to let families know those options are available.

It's a small but helpful way to make sure more children can take part in the Halloween fun, even if traditional candy isn't an option for them.
With downtown streets closed to traffic, dozens of participating businesses, and thousands of little trick-or-treaters expected, the Trail of Treats is shaping up to be a busy afternoon in downtown Williston.
So get those costumes ready, bring the family, and make plans to enjoy a Halloween tradition that brings the community together. The Trail of Treats takes place Saturday, October 31, from 2 to 4 p.m. in downtown Williston.
