Come on now, don't even tell me you haven't thought about it

Last year, 96.5 The Walleye took a whole group of listeners out onto the Missouri River-on board the awesome Lewis & Clark Riverboat! What a blast! Also, what an unbelievably hot day it was - probably around 98 degrees easy - no wind, just heat. Did we feel any mist or spray coming off the river? Maybe, but most of us were thinking one thing - "Hmmmm I can just easily jump off this ship and into a nice cool instant relief"

Did any of us go through with that idea?

No - for it's actually a Federal fine if you do - yes I'm not kidding. I didn't believe that for a minute until I took the time to call one of the workers at Lewis & Clark Riverboat. She took the time to make it as easy as she could for me to understand - " The riverboat is considered part of the US Coast Guard, making a splash in the river so to speak is labeled a Federal Fine . "it's a HEFT fine - $1,500 dollars" - In reality your glorious Riverboat trip was FREE to our listeners that day, IF they stayed on the boat.

Sorry to take that idea out of your head

I am sorry to take that splashy idea out of your head. The good news is that you still have time to catch the sunset before she ( Lewis & Clark ) is taken out of the river at the end of this summer. Check out their website for all the details you need - https://www.lewisandclarkriverboat.com/ and for gosh sakes, don't tempt yourself by bringing a towel, you won't need it!
