WE Fest in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota just broke attendance records.

Over 40,000 people alone attended the Morgan Wallen show on WE Fest's kickoff evening Thursday night.  One of those individuals was a Hollywood celebrity who was seated near a Bismarck country music fan.  More on that in a moment.

When the WE Fest Festival played its last song of the weekend from Kane Brown on Saturday evening, more than 120,000 people had taken in the area's biggest country music festival.  Those are some pretty impressive numbers as WE Fest celebrated its 40th anniversary.  Considering WE Fest had slumped to 54,000 people in 2019.

US 103-3 Bismarck Mandan's official WE Fest station sent hundreds of our listeners to this year's shows for FREE.

We pride ourselves in being the country concert leader in Bismarck Mandan.  We can't wait to get you to next year's WE Fest, and we are hearing some pretty big names being thrown around as potential artists.

Speaking of big names, you never know who might show up at WE Fest.

After all, the festival attracts the biggest names in country music like Morgan Wallen and when that happens, celebrities are sure to follow.  Case in point, I was broadcasting from WE Fest prior to the Morgan Wallen show in East Village on Thursday evening.

A big white town car with California plates was allowed to drive toward the stage area in a gated area near the entrance to the concert bowl.  The passenger riding in this vehicle had the window rolled down, and the second I saw him, I was like, yep, that's Josh Duhamel.

You just knew Josh Duhamel wasn't going to miss Morgan Wallen at WE Fest.

Josh Duhamel, who was born and raised in Minot, North Dakota has a family lake cabin in the Detroit Lakes area.  I bet it's safe to say he's a regular at WE Fest.
