
Fort Yates, ND Woman Arrested For Fatal Stabbing In Bismarck
A Woman is now in Custody for a Fatal Bismarck Stabbing.
According to a press release from the Bismarck Police Department, a 25-year-old woman from Fort Yates, North Dakota, is behind bars for the alleged stabbing of a man on Friday, January 30th, in Bismarck.
The suspect is Erian Fox, who police arrested on Friday after police officers responded to a call for service in the 1000 block of Porter Avenue in Bismarck. In the press release, it says Fox was initially transported to the Burleigh Morton Detention Center and held on charges of ingestion of a controlled substance and tampering with evidence.
Another Woman is no Longer Considered a Suspect
At this point, the Bismarck Police were searching for another person of interest in the case, who was considered a suspect in the murder. Following further investigation, it was determined that Fox was identified as the suspect in the fatal stabbing. Her charges were then upgraded to Class AA felony murder.
The General Public is not considered to be in Danger
Investigators say they identified and interviewed the person of interest in the surveillance image previously released. Police say at the present time, no additional suspects are being sought, and the public is not in danger.
Again, Erian Fox is currently being held at the Burleigh Morton Detention Center and is awaiting her pre-trial and formal charges.
