I love me a good waffle, and you will not find a better one in the Bismarck-Mandan area that is for sure. The whole vibe of this breakfast/brunch cafe is top-notch. Celebs Know Where to Go for a Great Waffle

Not only do locals frequent this popular waffle house, but so do local celebrities, including none other than Bismarck's very own Carson Wentz. Yep, the Minnesota Vikings quarterback, who played pretty well for the purple before an injury to his shoulder caused a season-ending surgery last year.

Wentz will be back with Minnesota in 2026, and along with JJ McCarthy, they are expected to back up Kyler Murray.

According to reports, Carson Wentz has been in the Bismarck area now for weeks speaking at both community and faith-based events, including his AO1 Foundation "Play for a Purpose Gala" at the Gateway Science Building, which took place on May 2nd.
